Salsa Delirio was set up by Anna Trant to combine her passion for salsa with her experience in event management.

Anna’s biography..

As you dance with Anna Trant all these concepts seem to merge as one. With her natural talent and ability, tempered with high-class training from many of the UK's best teachers, Anna is one of the most approachable dancers on the UK scene today with an easy and welcoming smile for everybody. She's just as happy leading beginners through new steps as she is cutting a rug with multiple spins and Afro-Cuban body rolls during a hard-core club night.

This sparkle when dancing is balanced in the non-dancing world with a background in geology and training. Until 2007 Anna was a global programme manager, compiling and managing a schedule of over 200 courses a year worldwide, and she has taken this training and management expertise and put it to good use in the dance world. For the last three years she has been not only teaching (salsa, bachata, body movement and styling) but is also a driving force working behind the scenes as a stage director for the fabulously successful Club Cubana Pontins weekenders. Her portfolio of clients continues to grow, her most recent project being Stage Manager at the Cuban Salsa Congress (Bournemouth, July 2008).

From the first time Anna hit the dance floor in 2002 she has been truly smitten with all things salsa and her thirst to find new ways to immerse herself in the passion that is her dancing appears unquenchable. Long may it (and she) continue.
